Routine Opperations and Service Guide

1.Condensate Pump:

   Service- One every (6) months- preferably Spring and Fall.   Pour (1) cup of white vinegar into pump and let stand for (2) hours. Flush with (1/2) gallon of cold water. 

2.HUMIDIFIER:

   Summer Operation- Humidistat to off  position. Damper in summer mode.

                                       * Damper should be marked with magic marker.

     Winter Operation- Humidistat should be set at approximately 30-35% 

                                     depending on the individual's comfort zone. Damper towinter position.

                                          * Should be marked with magic marker.

               ** CHANGE PAD ONCE A YEAR.

3. ELECTRONIC AIR CLEANER:

        FREQUENCY OF CLEANING DEPENDENT ON:

                Pets in the home, children, and smokers.(1)-(3) month intervals depending on the above situations.

      Cleaning:   Screens may be rinsed off with a hose or in a laundry tub. Air cleaner cells should be washed in a laundry tub-place(1) cup of liquid in a tub of hot water, insert cells and allow to soak for (2) hours. Rinse thoroughly with clear tap water and allow to dry.

**Under no circumstances should steel wool , a toothbrush, or any other physical means be used to clean the cells-damage may result.

4. MEDIA AIR CLEANER:

    ** CHANGE FILTER ONCE A YEAR.

5. FURNACE AND AIR CONDTIONING UNIT:

         Service:   Should be checked yearly to assure proper operation, performance, and  lubrication.
